Calico Cat Gourd Art was inspired by a Victorian house I saw while traveling a few weeks ago! Rich and vibrant colors paired with tons of cat personality, this cat is sure to bring a smile while it adorns your home. Cat gourds not only serve as a home decor accent, but they add character and promote great conversations!
This cat gourd stands almost 12" tall and is about 8" round. She has a clay mouse on her head. Her ears and tail are made from a strong epoxy compound, which is both durable and waterproof. I use a combination of leather paints, ink, and fluid acrylics for the designs. Each piece is finished with 3 coats of varnish.
